He didn't come from a wealthy family and his family was also seen as blood traitors. Ron was a target for Fred and George's pranks. The twins once transfigured Ron's teddy bear into a spider which sparked Ron's arachnophobia. He began attending Hogwarts at age 11 in 1991.
